Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began when she was 14 years old. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling prior to making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd took advantage of this win and went on a 3-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round in each fight. In WCFC, Ladd defeated Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen and beat her in a unanimous decision to put an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd took her fight with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to begin her career as a professional. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the first round by TKO. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and was victorious via submission armbar in the 2nd round. Aspen utilized the abilities she acquired in wrestling to beat McGill. She won the fight with a an KO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18, which was catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen dominated Hoy and finished her off in the second round by KO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last fight for the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut took place at UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina by grounding and pounding her before prevailing by TKO in the second round. When she next faced Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd ended Evinger in the first round. She also received a performance of the night bonus. Ladd fought in her debut big fight in the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous decision as well as the Fight of the Night award was awarded to both fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
